Dublin Coaches operate a service that many of our students have used. Our students took the 14.00 coach from Burgh Quay in Dublin to arrive in Dungarvan at 17.10. This coach stops at the Red Cow, which is very useful for students travelling from Sligo, Cavan, Mayo and other counties. On Friday, for the return journey, students take the 14.10 coach from Dungarvan to the Red Cow / Burgh Quay. A taxi from Dungarvan costs approximately €40, the cost of which is split between passengers.Tickets and taxi fares are the responsibility of the student. École de Mer will provide a list of recommended taxi providers on request.

“The people and teachers are really nice. The food is amazing and the accommodation was excellent. I really like how we have breaks between classes because the fresh air really helps me think. I have learned more French this week than I have the whole year.”
COB, Ecole De Mer Student
“I thought the experience was brilliant. The French classes didn’t seem long at all, they flew by and they weren’t like school classes, they were more fun.”
BW, Student of Ecole De Mer
“I would definitely advise this experience to everyone. Not only was about French you got to meet new people. I learnt more in this week alone than all of 1st and 2nd year put together. This was a fun and enthusiastic way of learning French and I would love to come back again.”
IR, Student of Ecole De Mer
“I have really enjoyed my time at École de Mer, I made new friends, I improved my French. The classes were great and the notes were very helpful and I learned loads of new words and I understood more. Thanks!”
